200 Becontree Avenue for Be First Regeneration Limited has WON the Architects’ Journal #AJArchitectureAwards for Housing AND scooped the 'Editor's Choice' as well - 2 Awards in one evening!
We were really touched by the judges' description of the scheme as being "full of enthusiasm and energy, with bags of whimsy and generosity". Almost everything in our lives starts at home and so isn't this exactly what good housing should aspire to?!
The judges also talked about "the power of architects working in partnership with an open and ambitious client", which is spot on. So thanks and well done to everyone from Be First who was involved in this project.
